Christmas 2006 - New Year's
2007: |
Mom, Tom, John & Celena came down
to see us! What a great time!
Mom
convinced almost everyone to smell the "Coyote Urine" she got for Christmas (see
above), and Rebecca actually had something in a bag that would fit a small
car.
Johnny & Celina kept the puppies
(Sam & Ella) happy with their dingos and Ella's new stuffed
racoon. |

Thanksgiving
2006 - Oklahoma
|
Wonderful adventures and new learning experiences in Oklahoma...
Basically a full-sized family reunion for everyone! |
|
September 2006 - Surfside, South
Carolina
|
Our Friends, Mike
& Chris, and Chris' family from Illinois.
Weather was strange but nice as Ernesto
passed. The ocean was actually very wavy, making boogie-boarding lots of fun.
There was even a surfer! Note: Don't shoot fireworks on the beach
in Surfside :-) |
June 2006
- Santa Fe, New Mexico |
Jim, JoAnn, Eric, Ben, Kathryn, Becca & me.
This was an awesome vacation - it was
truly wonderful to feel like you're in another country, without the hassle of
passports & visas!
Lucky for me (or so I thought) we were
in Santa Fe during the International Neutrino
Conference! Well, unfortunately, I had to skip it... but, the whole
"being-with-family" and the "everywhere-you-look, there's-a- picture-moment"
thing was probably better anyway. Not to mention, I don't even have a clue what
a neutrino might be...
Things you MUST DO in Santa
Fe:
- Atomic Frito-Pie: This
stuff is figuratively, and literally atomically HOT! This is what keeps the aliens
from Roswell away!
- Avocado Margarita:
Ummm, they were real TaStY!
- Bring a camera: wherever
you go!
- Eat as much as you can:
the New Mexican chiles are very unique in flavor and hot-ness.
- Side-Trip: Venture to Chimayo
